Gears in Fallout 76. Where do I even start with this heavily sought after material that everyone constantly is in search for. It seems like Gears are EVERYWHERE, but when you MOST need them they completely disappear. They are used in (what feels like) almost every form of crafting in the game (besides cooking, obviously) and helps you craft help tier weapons, power armor, and more. 

There are QUITE a number of items in the game the contains gears as a break down component, so here are the items you want to keep and eye out for if you’re farming gears:

• Bone Cutters
• Cameras (any kind)
• Typewriters (any kind)
• Desk Fans
• Fishing Rods
• Giddyup Buttercup (including separate pieces)
• Golden Pocket Watches
• High-Powered Microscopes
• Microscopes
• Miner Suit Scrap
• Silver Pocket Watch

So there are MULTIPLE objects throughout the world that contain gears, so it won’t be super difficulty for you to farm them even if you run out, as certain locations have gears-a-plenty.
